The length of our consulting engagements has varied from a few weeks for a quick training assessment to a few years for enterprise change management and business transformation initiatives.
How long will take us to raise capital?
Although we customize just about everything to your business needs and goals, the typical consulting project is started and organized in the following ways:
• Initial consultation meeting(s)- discussion to understand your basic needs and current business challenges.
• Review your existing materials (draft business plans, financials, market research, competitor research, etc.
• Follow-up discussion to clarify details and agree upon the scope and fees for the project.
• Developing a proposal that includes a SOW (statement and scope of work), pricing, timelines and any options or recommendations.
• Once the Kick-off meeting is done along with the payment of first milestone of the project, we’ll establish you in our systems for effective collaboration(if applicable). This will also include a regular communications plan and milestone reporting.
• We’ll work our brilliance to make you and your business shine.
• Towards the end of the project, we’ll finalize knowledge transfer so the results are sustainable.
Although we’ll do an official closing of the project, we’ll always be checking in to ensure that everything is working the way it should and you continue seeing the results you expect. We also help you make relevant changes in the deliverables as market changes without any extra charges.
How do you price your services?
In general, we charge a pre-determined fixed fee. The fee is determined by:
• The scope of the project, in terms of the tasks and areas you require help with.
• The sophistication and specific needs of your target audience.
• The quality of your existing materials, including early drafts of business plans, financial forecasts, market research, competitive research, etc.
• The clarity of your vision for your business model, marketing and distribution strategy, financial plans, etc.
• Your availability and willingness to participate in the preparation of the business plan, financial model, and investor presentation.
• The complexity of your industry and business model.
• The availability of industry information.
• The timeline of the project and the number of consultants required.
Because of these factors, the fees for a typical project, consisting of the preparation of an entire business blueprinting solution, and investor presentation (Business case), can range from a few thousands to a several tens of thousands of rupees. By the way, if you are “price shopping,” you should know that price that you pay us isn’t an expense but an Investment.
Where are you located, and how do you work with clients outside of your local area?
We are located in Pune, Maharashtra, and have consultants in and around Pune. We rely heavily on the phone, e-mail, and online meeting tools, and have never met half of our clients. If desired, we are available to visit you at your offices for a day or two at a time.
Do you have references?
Certainly. We would be pleased to introduce you to our past clients. However, in order to respect the time and generosity of our past clients, we provide references as the final step before you sign the SOW
